you can also take oral benadryl but make sure not to drive after taking it b/c it will make you drowsy. take 1-2 of the 25mg tablets every 6-8 hours but no more than 4 doses in 24 hours

not sure why the dentist listed it as an illness-it's an allergic reaction to something, not an illness...</description>

		<description>Hives are usually an allergic reaction or a reaction to stress, so the best remedy would be antihistamines like benadryl first, then if that doesn't help, brainstorm for reasons why you might have a nastly little stressor that's hiding behind those hives.  You should definitely see a doctor right away if the benadryl doesn't work, so you can get some relief.
