The doctor will put you on a different antibiotic to address your issue.  Depending on how bad you get, the doctor may also give you a step-down dose of Prednisone (glucocorticoid steroid) to reduce the inflammation.  In the short term, I would suggest taking two Benedryll to help keep the issue from getting worse.

If you stopped taking the amoxicillin two week ago, then you have a different issue going on as the half-life of that medication in your system is 2 hours or less, and you should have eliminated it all from your system by now.  So, regardless, you should touch base with your doctor for help as a prescription may be required to stop whatever is happening to you.</description>
