You didn't mention if they itch or are raised into little white caps. If it is really bothersome you might want the pharmacist to look at it, you might need something like benadril for an allergic reaction. More then 90% of hive cases they don't know the cause, but let them do blood work to make sure. A year ago I all of a sudden got hives and I was miserable for 9 months straight!!! Blood work was fine but you cant just go and get antihistamines - it could be covering up the true reason and it also might not work (It didn't for me). There is a pretty good creme on the market called Sarna, my dermatologist recommended it and it eases it somewhat.
