This causes an inappropriate immune system response that is out of proportion to an offending allergen, Ie, the overproduction and release of histamine. urticaria symptoms allergic urticaria hives urticaria urticaria emedicine urticaria in children exercise urticaria heat urticaria urticaria rash
I’ve had hives for almost 6 weeks now. I am under a bit of stress. hahaha understatement. Anyway I don’t want to take pills to releive the stress so any idea on how to deal with my hives. They are everywhere. hair, back, legs, arm, neck. They come and go of course. some days i don’t feel them at all and some days they drive me crazy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Even herbal remedies. Thanks!

Since last Spring I have been breaking out in either an itchy rash or hives all over my body. I’m sure it is not food or any thing I put directly on my skin. It seems to happen when I’m in a situation that changes my body temperature. Going into a hot office. stress or working up a sweat of some kind. Benadryl takes care of the itch but I have to take it each time it happens so that might be 3 or 4 times a day. I can never get to my DR when it happens any ideas??
I keep getting the hives, nothing in my environment has changed, however i have been getting hives lately, i get them maybe every 4 or 5 days, sometimes with longer breaks in between.
Can they be caused by stress?
What could i be allergic to?
I know for sure that my mom hasnt washed any of my clothes in different detergents, and everything we use is washed in stuff for sensitive skin.
Also, i’ve never been allergic to pollen, cats, or anything like that.
Why am i suddenly breaking out? and how do i get rid of them? they are all across my torso.
I am 22 weeks along and for the last three days have broke out in horribly itchy hives on my legs, thighs and a bit on my stomach. The doctor told me to take Benedryl which I will get when the pharmacy opens tomorrow. For now I have to suffer with it. What causes it and is there anything I can do to ease them until tomorrow when I can get the benedryl?
Also could stress cause them? I have been pretty stressed out and anxious lately or is it something I ate?
So, do antihistamines/allergy meds actually work for stress hives? I’ve been on Prednizone since Wednesday night, with the occasional dose of Benadryl whenever I find new hives. Now, I just found a new patch of hives on my arm. They haven’t really turned into red welts, just a few raised dots. I found another one on my chest earlier, waited an hour, saw that it was beginning to go away, and took a Benadryl anyway, to speed the process. At any rate, should I still be getting them?
I have chronic urticaria thats stress and heat induced. I get red blotchyness all over my face nack and chest and it takes forever to go away and It’s horribly embarressing. Anyone know what the best treatments are? benadryl doesn’t work for me. Anyone ever tried Hivecten?
