It started about 4 months ago, I moved into my apt. I would start with hives all over my legs thighs inner thighs back stomach every where feet legs… you name it was there. My Husband and son had no type of reaction to anything. Then one day my lip started to swell the top lip then the bottom then one side and it would happen maybe every other day. or once a week or every two weeks. I do not associate it with a change in detergent or shampoo or soap, I have not changed anything. I am not allergic to anything, so needless to same Im a bit annoyed. Yesterday I had a headache and as I was noticing myself in the mirror the middle of my forehead was swollen up and outward it freaked me out I put some Ice and eventually it went down. I Do not know what is wrong with me any type of direction would help. Again My husband and son have not had any of these symptons. Thanks for your time

So, occasionally I get an itch, then a few minutes later, I break out in hives where I scratched. It started on my arms, then on my chest, and just a few minutes ago on my stomach. They itch for a few minutes, then they stop itching, and in, like, 30 minutes its like it never happened. Do you have any ideas why?

I developed an allergic reaction to penicillin this week, resulting in a head-to-toe rash, thousands of hives. It’s been five days since the hives initially appeared (starting on just my arms and stomach) and I’ve noticed that the hives left my face, chest, and top of my back and have slowly healed downward - at least I think they’re healing, which is my question! The rash/hives are no longer raised, but leave a red blotchy imprint on my body where they were. Is this normal? What should the hives look like if they’re healing? How long will the color last?

When I was little and during my teenage years I’ve been okay with me swimming in our public pools and in the ocean (cause I live in Hawaii). But not that I’m 20 and ever since I’ve hardly ever gone swimming to those places, I’ve recently developed hives under my arms and on my face and the side of my bikini area on my thighs. Its really irritating me cause I want to go swimming with my friend but then I’d have to reject it cause I now develop this whenever I go swimming in the pool and the ocean. It is just an allergic reaction to the water or my body isn’t use to it anymore? And is a possibilty that I can never go swimming again because of it? Are there any treatments that I can take as well before I go in the water?
Another weird thing about it is that when I was little I developed hives by eating foods that included chicken, eggs, shrimp, and crab. And my doctor prescribed me with medicine to treat it. But ever since I started eating those foods and have not developed hives to the point where I just stopped taking my medicine, I thought my hives went away already. But now when I go swimming in the ocean & pool, I’ve started to develop my hives from there?!? I also do have Asthma and Senstive skin but I was hoping that if I try to go swimming in those places more my hives would go away as well. Any suggestions that might work?
When I swim in the pool my hives are not as bad as I get little tiny bumps on my body. But when I swim in the ocean, my hives are really worse cause they get swollen and red and ichty.
Yeah I usually shave by my bikini areas and under my arms of course. And usually those are the places that really get swollen than the rest of my body such as my stomach and arms for example.
I do take baths everyday and it doesn’t effect me having hives. Weird thing. I only get hives when I go in the ocean or pool (mostly the ocean) but during a shower/bath I don’t get hives.

Hey everyone,
I would really appreciate your help.
I had surgery around 25 days ago, and somehow the bandages they used gave me a horrible skin allergy (Hives i believe).
It covered most of my stomach.
Now the allergy has been treated, but it left dark patches around my stomach… darker patches where the allergy was more severe.

Since now i have scars all over my stomach, i would really appreciate not having bizarre pigmentation too.
So please help!

About 4 or 5 months ago, I started breaking out in hives. I went to the doctor and he gave me Prednisone which helped, but now they are coming back. They are mostly on my back, arms, stomach, and they recently started coming up on my face. I just want them gone. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I am 22 weeks along and for the last three days have broke out in horribly itchy hives on my legs, thighs and a bit on my stomach. The doctor told me to take Benedryl which I will get when the pharmacy opens tomorrow. For now I have to suffer with it. What causes it and is there anything I can do to ease them until tomorrow when I can get the benedryl?
Also could stress cause them? I have been pretty stressed out and anxious lately or is it something I ate?

i smoked something last night and this morning i woke up with a bunch of hives on the side of my stomach then later in the day the hives came up all over my stomach and up to my chest. i have never had hives before. whatis a good treatment for hives. my friend told me tea tree oil but i dont know if i should be throwing anything onto it yet.
