I have hives that have been coming and going since last week. I already know what caused them and I’m taking generic benadryl which seems to be working but it takes awhile to kick in and once it wears off the hives come back instantly and it itches a lot! I’m afraid the hives will spread to my face! I can handle hives everywhere else but not the face. I have hives on my scalp which are even itchier than the hives elsewhere, I read that peppermint can help to reduce the inflammation and pain caused by hives so if I use an organic deep conditioning treatment with peppermint will that soothe my itching or will it aggravate it?
