I am 22 weeks along and for the last three days have broke out in horribly itchy hives on my legs, thighs and a bit on my stomach. The doctor told me to take Benedryl which I will get when the pharmacy opens tomorrow. For now I have to suffer with it. What causes it and is there anything I can do to ease them until tomorrow when I can get the benedryl?
Also could stress cause them? I have been pretty stressed out and anxious lately or is it something I ate?

I have hives on my arms, shoulders, back (very few or none) and neck (stops at jaw bone). All the hives, except for my neck are blotches. My neck has a big blotch that cover the majority of my neck. Sometimes hives are puffier than other. It also have different shades of red at times.I have seen four doctors multiple times. Each time they give me a shampoo or cream to apply. They go away for a few weeks and then reappear. They never go away without treatment. No matter the period of time. Just different amounts of hives.
I have lately developed external hemmroids, I am in my early 20s!!

For some reason I keep on gettin hives in my lips and in my gums inside my mouth. They come on suddenly with nothing making them happen. It just begins to itch , then a lil tingly, numbness then here comes the hive. Any idea on why they are forming?
ok its not an STD , usually when they happen i can be doing anything, usually i am not eating or drinking anything. It can happen when im driving, watching tv, reading, i start to feel lil tongling sensation, then it begins to itch then a hive forms, in my lips, in my gums and it last for hours on end. any other suggestions?

I broke out in the hives 3 days ago. So I went to the ER and they gave me a few shots and sent me home, but 3 hrs later I was broke out again and have been for three days now. I’m miserable. I have and Appt with my Family Care Practitioner tomarrow, but what can I do to get through tonight. I don’t think I can handle another morning of Hives. It’s a horrible way to wake up
My friend suddenly broke out in hives and he hasn’t touched anything. All day today he has had abdominal pains and his face is starting to swell up. The only thing he ate this evening was a cup of ramen and some oreos. I need to know what causes this and if there is anything I can do. Also, is it contagious?

Have you been wondering if there is a cure for hives that works?
I have chronic hives due to allergies, and I’m undergoing allergy shots. I take antihistamines daily (Claritin), and at the advice of my pharmacist, use Ivarest for a topical lotion. However, I’d like a homeopathic treatment for hives. I’ve tried oatmeal baths, cold wet washcloths, and numerous other ointments with no real relief. Any other EFFECTIVE ideas?
HI ive been taking thyroxine for a week and ive got really bad hives on my arms, chest and face, im putting steroid cream on it, i need to eliminate what the cause is, could if be thyroxine? If not its probably gluten wheat or dairy, has anyone else got a rash from taking thyroxine please?
