My dog has broken out in hives/rash all over his body, what is it?
My dog has broken out in a rash/hives that are the same color of his skin. It has almost completely covered his body. There is no hair loss and he has done nothing outside of his normal lifestyle. He is eating the same food he has had for years and is mostly an indoors dog. Can anyone help tell me what this is?

What is it?
An emergency, that’s what it is.
Please get your dog to a vet. An allergic reaction can very quickly become deadly.
take him to the vet NOW!!!!!
your dog is probably allergic to something in or around your home.
TAKE HIM TO A VET ASAP.
If you had a rash you would want help.
probably a food alergy…try to change the diet…good luck
Probably hives. Give him some benedryl quick.
Hummm, don’t freak. I see you already have gotten several "Its probably" answers. Truth is no one can tell you what it is except that it IS and allergic reaction to something. My advise, call your vet or the on-call or emergency vet in your area and get the drug dose for Benadryl.
He may have fleas or some other parasite(such as mites), or as others have said a regular allergy not related to fleas. I would call the vet, in the meantime you can get hydrocortizone spray from the pet store, and spray him. Still a vet would also need to see it. The vet can scrape the skin to see if there is a parasite, and what to treat it with-if needed.
