This morning I found a small red painfull bump behind my right shoulder. My mother said it was a pimple so I paid no attention to it. UNTIL 3 more smaller pinkish red bumps appeared, but these bumps weren’t painful, they were itchy and in a red patch. (not big at all) So I searched bumps like these and came to Pressure Urticara. Basically hives caused by pressure. Which makes a lot of since b/c last night my arm was aching so i laid it down on something hard to give it pressure and fell asleep then I woke up this morning w/ the bump. My arm also aches which is a symptom of a Pressure Urticaria. Is there an ointment for these type of hives? An at home treatment. I allready took a cool shower and I’m wearing loose clothing. I’m also trying not to itch my 3 bumps AT ALL. Anything else that would help? Before I have to go the doctors office?

We cant seem to find te hive or their nest. They are all just a bit random but like to hang out around our patio where most of us hang out. We’ve tried sprays but it seems to attract them more than get rid of them. We also have wasps. Please help!

I started taking minocycline 3 weeks ago for the treatment of acne. Several hours ago, I began to itch in several spots, and within the past few hours, have developed large raised hives. These hives are located over various areas of my body in varying sizes, some about the size of a pencil eraser, others 4+ inches in diameter. Are these most likely linked to the use of the antibiotics or is it more likely something I ate / other environmental toxin? I have no other abnormal symptoms aside from the recent itching and hives.

I’ve had hives for almost 6 weeks now. I am under a bit of stress. hahaha understatement. Anyway I don’t want to take pills to releive the stress so any idea on how to deal with my hives. They are everywhere. hair, back, legs, arm, neck. They come and go of course. some days i don’t feel them at all and some days they drive me crazy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I cannot seem to get rid of my hives. I try baby oil which relieves the itch, but not the hives them self. They usually go away 30 minutes to an hour after appearing. I would like to know any remedies or solutions to help my condition other than allergy medication and seeing the doctor. Thanks!

I am allergic to amoxicillin (I got hives on the 7th day of a 10 day treatment) and now I am taking Ciproflaxin and am worried about having a more severe reaction like anaphylactic shock. I have taken my pills for 2 days (4 pills) now and I am still worried about suffering from an allergic reaction. When can I stop worrying?

I’ve only taken penicillin once before and had no problems, but this time broke out in hives on day 9 of the treatment. I really do not want to have hives ever again.
I was feeling a little better, and after two days could finally eat something. I drank a glass of milk and hives got worse. Then, I read that there are trace amounts of penicillin in milk and cheese. Does this mean I must avoid them once I am clear of this episode?
I did see a doctor twice. He’s the one who diagnosed the problem being from penicillin. I’m just curious about the milk thing.

i am 16 and have had chronic hives for 3 years now, i had hyper thyroid but went through an iodine radiation treatment to see if my hives would go away, they wouldnt. ive taken all types of medication, trust me. at one point i was on 6 different medications, as of now i take rantidine, hydroxizine, and zyrtec twice daily. this seems to surpress them but i still see a few from day to day, if i dont take them i will have hives everywhere. i didnt know other people suffered from this like me, so it made me feel a little better. i just wanted some support and us chronic ives sufferers must stick together haahahah

The bumps almost look like hives, she has tried the aveno bath treatment and using hydrocortizone cream. What else is there to be done to both stop the itching and make the bumps go away? I have been having an allergic reation to something for the past month and can’t figure out what it is. I was taking benadryl which helped but made me really drowsy. A doctor gave me a presciption but when it ended the hives came back. They advised me to start taking clariton, but that hasn’t helped at all. Anyone have any remedies they could help me out with?
